    OUR NEW LOOK
    THE 2011 mTAB™ RELEASE

    mTAB

Early December saw the release of a new version of mTAB™. The most obvious upgrade was made to the user interface. It now has a more contemporary look and feel. This latest update introduces a new layout to the question view, along with a new look to the spreadsheet view. However, our main focus still remains on improving the user experience and making mTAB™ faster and more intuitive.

To ensure that the transition from the previous version of mTAB™ and the new update goes as smoothly as possible for all of our mTAB™ users, a video overview was created. This video covers the new look and feel of the software, along with short tutorials on some of the newly added features. Click here to view the new mTAB™ release overview video.
For more detailed documentation, including step by step instructions on the new features, please refer to the "New Features" links on the left side of the page.

The second phase to mTAB's "new look" will occur during the first quarter of 2012. It will include a complete overhaul of the menus and buttons controlling the software, along with all dialogs and controls. We're sure this will make the mTAB™ interface more appealing and also more efficient to navigate and use.

    GOT NPS?
APPLY THE NET PROMOTER SCORE TO YOUR mTAB™ STUDIES

    mTAB NPS

The Net Promoter or NPS is a customer loyalty metric. NPS is based on a simple premise; growth of your business is directly related to your customer's willingness to "promote" or recommend your product or services to others. Think of NPS as a "bottom line" tracking metric that summarizes your customer's experiences and loyalty into one understandable and explainable measure.

The NPS calculation starts with a survey data containing the question "On a scale of 0 to 10, what is the likelihood that you would recommend this (product or service) to a friend or relative?"

Respondents are categorized into one of three groups: "Promoters" (9–10 rating), "Passives" (7–8 rating), and "Detractors" (0–6 rating).

The score behind the NPS is calculated by subtracting the percentage of the bottom 7 box responses, "Detractors", in other words those indicating they would be very unlikely to recommend, from the percentage of the top 2 box responses, "Promoters", or respondents that would be very likely to recommend.

NPS scores can take on any value within the range of 100% to -100%, An NPS that is positive (i.e., higher than zero) is good. An NPS of +50 is excellent, with 100% being the desired NPS.
