It goes without saying, that all of our clients have to produce regular reports on the survey data they receive in mTAB™.   As mTAB™ is so easy to use, the biggest challenge is not obtaining the data for charts and tables, but the manual updating of report pages.  Thankfully, this will no longer be a problem.  As mTABView will link directly with mTAB™, once a new wave of data is available, reports can be automatically updated in an instant.

The first step for an mTABView user will be to set up their report.  The mTABView interface will be very familiar to MS-PowerPoint users and so we expect experienced analysts to find mTABView very intuitive to use.   By choosing from a set of custom templates the user will indicate whether the page of the report they are creating is a title page, bar chart, table of data or any other typical chart type.  Once the chart type has been chosen, the chart can be activated and the user will select the required data either by choosing a stored mTAB™ tab or by linking directly with mTAB™ to create a tab from a live mTAB™ session.  This process can be repeated until an entire report has been created.

Finalized mTABView reports can be saved and exported in a variety of formats, including Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. However, the real benefit of mTABView will be realized when the survey on which the report has been created is updated. All the user will need to do is open the report in mTABView and all the pages will be automatically updated.

In addition to updates occurring when a new version of the database is available, users will also be able to overlay filters, different markets and brand lists to construct new reports in an instant. If there are changes to the survey, mTABView will highlight these changes, in much the same way as mTAB™ currently does, to ensure that the user can easily bridge the changes in their new report.

We believe that mTABView will revolutionize the way that our clients create their reports. The only problem our clients will face, is to how to fill all the spare time they will now have on their hands!
