November 18, 2007 - 500,000 mTAB™ Web Service Crosstabs and Counting!

The web based mTAB™ service, launched in beta form to customers in January 2004, registered a cumulative 500,000 customer cross tabulations on November 18, 2007.  With several recent customer account additions yielding thousands of new web service users, and with the vast majority of existing legacy desktop mTAB customers migrating to the mTAB web service, PAI anticipates exceeding 1,000,000 customer mTAB web service crosstab runs before the end of calendar year 2008.

November 9, 2007 - mTAB™ 2007 R2 Release

PAI released the third of three planned mTAB™ service enhancements today.  Each of the three 2007 mTAB releases featured functional enhancements to the mTAB service.   Highlights of 2007 R2 include automated significance testing.  A comprehensive reference of all new features added in three 2007 releases is available by clicking here.  Note that this summary document marks the extensive listing of features now available exclusively within the mTAB web based service.  While PAI will continue to support the legacy mTAB desktop software for existing customers in the foreseeable future, new service enhancements will be limited to the mTAB web service.

September 16, 2007 - PAI Attends the ESOMAR Congress and AMA Annual Research Conferences

The PAI - GAMMA Partnership had a great time at the at the 60th anniversary of the ESOMAR Congress.  All three days were buzzing with people from all different sectors and areas.  At our stand we had an unprecedented interest in our mTABWeb and our new mTABView Service.  We are now following up all those leads coming from our hectic and exciting time at ESOMAR this year.

June 30, 2007 - mTAB™ R1 2007 Release

PAI is proud to announce the second of three mTAB service upgrades scheduled for 2007.  R1 2007, officially released June 30, 2007, offers a wide variety of new functional enhancements for the consumer insights analyst including enhanced workgroup functionality for mTAB's question formats and saved tab content, incorporation of colorization into the spreadsheet view and TopN views based upon spreadsheet cell value criteria, and many additional convenience and performance enhancements.

The R1 2007 enhancements to the mTAB service follow the R0 2007 enhancements released March 31, 2007.  R0 release enhancements included the powerful new "Ignore Filter" option for column questions along with enhanced workgroup functionality for recoding, which include the ability to now save a development or "draft" recode that can be published to the workgroup upon completion.

April 3, 2007 - Airborne mTAB!

In addition to Lufthansa existing airborne Wifi services, the WSJ announced today that U.S. airlines are planning to start offering in-flight Internet connections (i.e. Wifi service) within 12 months. The complete article is available at WSJ - April 3rd, 2007 - "Wifi in the Sky"

April 1, 2007 - Art Center College of Design using mTAB

For the second year in the row, PAI is a patron of the renowned Pasadena Art Center College of Design. PAI is providing mTAB for an Art Center class for students studying consumer automotive feature preferences. The Art Center College of Design has been a leader in art and design education for nearly 75 years. The College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in a wide range of disciplines, as well as Public Programs offering design education to all ages and levels of experience. Fundamental to Art Center's core curricula is a commitment to social and cultural engagement and giving students the tools and skills with which to effect change and address real-world issues. Art Center is located in Pasadena, California, with classes held at its Hillside Campus and new South Campus in downtown Pasadena.

April 1, 2006 - PAI is On the Move!

PAI today announced plans to move their Yorba Linda "World Headquarters" location. The new office location is just 5 miles east of PAI's current home of 12 years, and will offer additional (30% more) space as well as dedicated server and conference / training areas. A new mailing address goes into effect on June 1, 2006.

February 20, 2006 - PAI now accepts the American Express® Credit Card

In response to demand by our corporate customers, PAI is now exclusively accepting the American Express® Credit Card. "Over the past few years, we have noted an increase in customers requesting to pay by AMEX" noted Brad Hontz, President, PAI. "Customers have indicated that AMEX payment offers convenience by avoiding internal paperwork."

In response to this customer need, PAI launched the PAI AMEX Storefront on February 20, 2006. Customers can utilize this web store to make purchases of PAI's services. Standard mTAB database services are available for purchase, and custom client services (e.g. mTAB database conversions) can be purchased by customer log in.

September 20, 2005 - Audithost announced as a finalist in the MRS/ASC Joint Award for Technology Effectiveness!

We are proud to announce that the PAI Audithost service has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious MRS/ASC Joint Award for Technology Effectiveness.

This annual award recognizes software based products and/or services that have made a significant contribution to "outstanding innovation in the application of software or technology to market, opinion and social research".

Of all of the products and services registered for consideration, Audithost was one of just two other services nominated as a finalist. The overall winner will be announced at the MRS Research Excellence & Effectiveness Awards dinner, to be held on the evening of October 26th in London.

We are very proud of this accomplishment and for the recognition and endorsement of the PAI Audithost service offered by the MRS/ASC award committee.

mTABWeb, the web-based replacement for mTAB for Windows, was recently released to a select set of BETA customers. mTABWeb enhances the 'mTAB experience' by:

  • eliminating the need to receive software updates; you are always using the most current version of mTAB!
  • eliminating the need to receive study CD's. With mTABWeb, your most recent studies are always just one click away. No need to manage fileservers, share CD's etc.
  • simplifying the process of sharing mTAB work (recodes and tab saves) with your fellow mTAB peers
  • *NEW* save report screen facilitates sharing analysis with 'non-mTAB' users in a more convenient fashion
  • conveniently available from any computer wordwide using a IE or Netscape version 5+ web-browser and internet connectivity
